Also, what is 'immobile' defined as? A unit with no movement allowance?
Thanks,

Kinda confused by the assault rules. Upon a reading of th rules, if a unit charges, it looks like immobile units are destroyed. On the flowchart that's
provided on this site, though, I didn't see any mention of it. Is that only if they're running away?

Yes, if the defender fails the TQC against a charge, all Units must run away. Those that cannot run away because they are immobile (are suppressed) are
eliminated.
Immobile Units are those with no movement allowance (as defined in Series Rule 29.34). |

Also Jeff, I'll add to the flowchart a few words that defenders that cannot runaway are eliminated.

But if they pass the TQC, they're OK? That's what happened in my game... just seemed odd that nothing happened after the charge... like "OK, blokes, we'll just go back here and start again, OK?" :-) Jeff Ital |

If the defenders pass the TQC they handle the charge (with no effect), and then get to return fire on those that charged, and then the assault comes to an end
(no matter if it was the first round or the third round).

Jeff, the new flowchart is available for download (added the text about eliminating immobile Units).
If you have any other questions, post away. Assault is probably the most tricky rule to get all the steps down, but once you've been through it a few times, it starts to make sense. |
