Since the VASSAL module is nearly release, I'm getting ready for PBEM of TDC. Just curious about how others are using opportunity fire. It seems like the
phasing player could just roll for any opportunity fire opportunities he causes. In some cases like stacks moving, if he rolls for the non-phasing player and
op fire is allowed, he may need to return the log then to see which target is selected but in most cases...

Also, like I mentioned below, if the enemy is adjacent to you and wants to move away, you may want to let him if it'll increase your fire zone range.

Before your activation comes up, and enemy unit is passing through the same gap. You Opp Fire at it, suppress it, and now it's stuck in the gap, blocking
it. Of course, next activation you can move up the first vehicle, assault it and clear it out of the way...but that'll cost a command point (and you'd

The most common case where you'd pass on the Opp Fire I imagine would be when a suppression result would create problems in your own mobility on a
later activation. This is also pretty rare, but there are circumstances where a suppression would be a pain.
Not sure I follow this. Suppression on the enemy cause you problems?

It'd be pretty rare when you wouldn't want to take the Opp Fire shot. I can only think of a few examples, and most of those are for very exotic
situations (one being that as the German player you're watching the Allied player try and deploy the assault ferry...you think he's doing it in a very
poor location, but seeing as he can only do so once in the game, you want him to go ahead and succeed).
